- Lift the handset.
- Press the PAGE hard key.
- Begin speaking after the tone.
- Hang up the phone when you’re finished paging.
Congratulations! You just made your first page.
- Lift the handset.
- Press the REDIAL button.
On the DT430 model, you can also redial older numbers using the circular cursor keys. To do so:
- Lift the handset.
- Press the Left button on the circular cursor keys to scroll back through your phone’s call history.
- When you have located the number you wish to call, press the pound (#) or star (*) keys to redial the displayed number.
Good on you! You’ve just redialed a phone number.
- Lift the handset.
- Press the FEATURE hard key + 3 on the number keypad.
- Keep pressing 3 to scroll through your ringtone options.
- To adjust the volume, press the Up and Down buttons on the circular cursor keys.
- Return the handset to its cradle.
The last ringtone you listened to will be the tone you hear when a new call comes in.
Keep it up! You’ve just set a personal ringtone for your phone.
- Lift the handset and dial the first number. (Remember to dial 9 first to make an outgoing call.)
- Press the CONF soft key or CONF button.
- Dial the second number. Dial 9 first for an outside call.
- After the second caller picks up, press the ADD soft key, or press the CONF button twice.
To add members to your conference call:
- Follow steps 1 through 4 in the section above.
- Dial a third number.
Press the ADD soft key after the second caller picks up. - Press the BEGIN soft key to establish a four-way conference call. You may not add more than three internal and three external parties, including yourself.
Brilliant! You’ve just started your first conference call.
- Press the SPEAKER soft key, then the MORE OPTIONS (>>>>) soft key until you see DND displayed.
- Press the DND soft key, and you’ll have re-enabled DND.
Turn Off DND by:
- Press the DND soft key. The screen will display the word “CANCEL” to let you know that DND has been turned off.
Good work! You’ve just turned on and off Do Not Disturb.
To check the voicemail:
- Lift the handset.
- Press the middle ENTER key on the circular cursor to access the Shortcut Menu.
- On the settings display, scroll until option 2: VM is highlighted. You may scroll using the Up and Down buttons on the circular cursor keys.
- Press the middle ENTER key on the circular cursor or the OK soft key.
- Press the 2 button on the keypad to navigate to access Voicemail.
- Follow the instructions given to you over the handset to navigate the voicemail system.
Way to go! You’ve just checked your first voicemail!
Here’s how to set it:
- Press the MORE OPTIONS (>>>>) soft key until you see FDA displayed on screen.
- Press the FDA soft key to access Call Forwarding – All.
- Enter your phone’s extension to direct calls to voicemail.
- Press the SPEAKER key to set Call Forwarding – All.
Well done! You’ve just set call forwarding.
To cancel:
- Use the MORE OPTIONS (>>>>) soft key to navigate back to FDA.
- Press the star (*) key to cancel, then press the SPEAKER key to finalize.
- Lift the handset.

- Press the FDA soft key to access Call Forwarding – All.
- Enter your phone’s extension to direct calls to voicemail.
- Press the SPEAKER key to set Call Forwarding – All.
Nice! You’ve just set call forwarding.
To cancel:
- Use the MORE OPTIONS (>>>>) soft key to navigate back to FDA.
- Press the star (*) key to cancel, then press the SPEAKER key to finalize.
- While a call is in progress, press the MUTE soft key.
- Press the MUTE soft key a second time to turn off mute.
Good on you! You’ve just learned how to use the mute feature!
- While a call is in progress, press the TRANSFER hard key. You will hear a special tone letting you know that the caller has been placed on hold.
- Once you hear the dial tone, dial the extension of the transfer destination.
- Once the second party picks up, announce the transfer.
- Replace the handset.
Nice going! You just transferred your first call.
- Press the SPEAKER hard key. You will hear a dial tone.
- Dial the System Clock access code. Your System Administrator should be able to give you the code if you don’t know it.
- Enter the new time in HHMMSS format using the number keypad.
- Press the SPEAKER hard key again to set the time.
Bravo! You’ve just edited the display time on your phone.
- Press the “Menu” softkey at the top
- Enter 61 on the dial pad
- Press the “Select” softkey at the top
- Press the “Set” softkey at the top
- Enter the phone number you can be reached at, don’t forget to include the 91(area code)+number
- Press “Next” softkey at the top
- Press “All” softkey at the top
- Press “Save” softkey at the top
- The phone will beep and forwarding will be active.
- Press the Speaker button or Exit button to finish
Now to disable call forwarding feature you will need to follow these steps:
- Press the “Menu” softkey at the top
- Enter 66 or 61 on the dial pad (which ever you have set)
- Press the “Select” softkey at the top
- Press the “Cancel” softkey at the top
- Phone will beep and forwarding will be deactivated
- Press the Speaker button or Exit button to finish
