SETTING UP YOUR MAILBOX

1. LOG IN

a. Press ICM ___
b. At the prompt, enter your security code ___________
(Your temporary security code will be the same as your mailbox number plus 997#. For example, if your mailbox number is 120, your security code will be 120997#).

2. RECORD YOUR NAME

a. At the tone, speak your name ("Mary Brown")
b. Press # when finished recording
c. Accept your name by pressing # or press * to re-record

3. RECORD YOUR PERSONAL GREETING

a. At the tone, speak your greeting
b. Press # when finished recording
c. Accept your recording by pressing # or press * to re-record

4. CHANGE YOUR SECURITY CODE

a. Enter your new security code (min. 3 digits-max. 16 digits)
b. Re-enter your security code again

SETUP COMPLETE

Congratulations! You have successfully completed setting up your mailbox. You may now hang up.





GETTING INTO YOUR MAILBOX
 

From your desk phone 

>Press ICM ___ or press the MSG button on your phone (if flashing)
> Enter your security code

From another desk phone

> Press ICM ___ Then, Enter 9 # ("invalid entry")

> Enter your mailbox number
> Enter your security code

From an outside phone

> Call __________________
> Press * during the greeting
> Enter your mailbox number
> Enter your security code

MAIN MENU OPTIONS:

LISTENING TO MESSAGES
From the Main Menu, press 1 to enter Message Menu options

OPTIONS WHILE LISTENING TO MESSAGES:
4 Pause/Resume (while listening or recording)
8 Turn up volume
0 Turn down volume
* Back Up (rewind in 5 second increments)
# Go Forward (advance in 5 second increments)

OPTIONS AFTER LISTENING TO MESSAGES
1 Play next message
*1 Replay message
2 Save message
3 Delete message
5 Forward message
6 Reply

MAILBOX OPTIONS

From the Main Menu, press 3 to enter Manage Mailbox menu

Record your name: > Choose option 2, then option 6
> Begin recording at the tone, press # when finished.
> To save, press 9

Record/Change your greeting: > Choose option 1 (change your greeting)
> Select a greeting number (1 thru 7)
> To review, press 1
> To rerecord, press 2
> To save, press 9

Change your security code: > Choose option 2, then 3
> Enter your new security code
> Enter your new security code again
> To save, press 9

GENERAL TIPS

> If you know what buttons to press, press them without waiting for the system to respond.

> Delete messages you don't need; otherwise, your mailbox will get full.

> Change your greeting to match your schedule, for example, when you're on vacation.

> To reset the voice mail indicator light, press ICM # 409

> To exit from a menu, press 9.

> To bypass a person's greeting, press ##.

> To undelete a message, press 9 1 BEFORE exiting the Play Messages menu
